Robert Szwajkos

Robert was born and raised in Rochester, NY and moved to Bucks County in 2003. He now lives in Newtown, PA .

He said, “Changing employment and moving into an LGBT community gave me a new life in which I was accepted and accepted myself as an LGBT member of the community.”

Robert is an attorney and was the first Court Administrator for the US Bankruptcy Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and 8 adjoining counties. He is a nationally regarded attorney and now practices in a Bucks County Firm. Robert said, “As a member of the LGBT Legal Community I can make a greater contribution to my profession.” He has proudly been rated by AV Martindale Hubbard as being in the top 1% of all attorneys nationally.

He is a big part of FACT and has served on the Board and volunteers for FACT Bingos. Robert is counsel to FACT and New Hope Celebrates. He also was counsel to UPRiver Productions which produced the movie “Embraceable You” and the fireworks program.

Along with his busy professional life, he devotes himself to the community. Robert was one of the founders of BRIDGE which was the first LGBT business network in New Hope. Robert is the coordinator for all the elected and political candidates for the PRIDE Parade.

As a marathon runner, Robert loves running on the canal paths. He has served as Chair for Team Philadelphia comprising of 11 sports leagues with 1200 participants. In 2014, they went to the Gay Games and won 75 gold medals.

He loves going to the Raven in his down time.

Robert loves Bucks County and said “making wonderful friends” is his most accomplished achievement.
