Jack Rosen was a noted freelance photojournalist, also considered to be the “photographer laureate” of New Hope and Bucks County, PA, documenting area events, trends, and personalities for an extended period ranging from the early 1960s through the late 1990s. He was a former editor of the Bucks County and Pennsylvania Traveler magazines, as well as the local New Hope newspaper, the New Hope Gazette.

Rosen’s work appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world including LIFE, Newsweek, Paris Match, Der Stern, New York Times, Saturday Evening Post, and many more. His photographs have been shown at the Philadelphia Art Museum, the Philadelphia Art Alliance and numerous art/photo galleries, most recently at Sidetracks in New Hope, PA. Rosen’s photographs are also included in the permanent collection at the James A. Michener Art Museum, Doylestown, PA.
